Friendship is something nobody can do without. They are pillars of support, a shoulder for you to lean on. When you are in distress, shrouded in darkness, figuring your way out, your friend will be there, a guiding light in the darkness, leading you, encouraging and helping you. Yet, true friends like these are far and few between, we normally tend to make friends who are a bad influence when we are teenagers, frequently, it is difficult to say “no” to them when they ask you to do something bad, as we will be scared of losing “face” even when we know its wrong. In this sea of people, there are many kinds of people, wearing different “masks”, carrying different intentions, it is up to ourselves to make decisions and judge their character. When you meet the true friend of your life, you will find that he will not be wearing a “mask”, he would bare his true emotions to you and although the friendship might be rocky, he will still help you in times of need.
